Did you leave off a "break"?

<?php //Available roles: admin, editor, author, subscriber if (!isset($role)) { $role = 'subscriber'; }

//change to switch statement

switch ($role){ case 'admin': echo 'As an admin, you can add, edit, or delete any post.'; break; case 'editor': echo 'As an editor,you can add or edit any post,and delete your own posts'; break; default: echo "You do not have access to this page. Please contact your administrator.";

}

Hi Marjan, please make sure to let us know what question you are dealing with. Using the correct markdown to show the properly formatted code helps too :)

switch ($role) {
    case 'admin':
        echo 'As an admin, you can add, edit, or delete any post.';
        break;
    case 'editor':
        echo 'As an editor,you can add or edit any post,and delete your own posts';
        break;
    default:
        echo "You do not have access to this page. Please contact your administrator.";
}

Bummer! I do not see the correct output for editors. Did you leave off a "break"?

Here's what you need to fix:

  1. The text doesn't match the required message for the editor case. You can copy and paste from the question, rather than typing it out (spaces are important).
  2. The default case is missing a the break statement from the end.
  3. The author case is also required.
