Do I get points for participating in the community forum?

This question bothered me for some time.

Hi Stan,

You can in fact receive points for participating, by having your answer marked as the "best answer". This will give you some points on the subject, if it was a Python question for example you would receive 10 (or 12?) points added to your Python total.

Participating on the community forum is highly recommended as you can learn so much that way! :)

Hi there! Yes, you receive points for participating in the Community forums. Twelve points are awarded for each "Best Answer" along with 1 point for each time your answer is voted up. The one exception to this is the "General Discussion" board where answers are not eligible for voting.

Hope this helps! :sparkles:
