Do i have to memorize everything from the instructional videos?

I am having a hard time remembering certain information in these videos like file paths for an example. Do i have to memorize these details before going on to the next lessons?

I'm terrible at memorizing. But a great skill to develop is knowing where to find and how to use documentation references when you need them.

This is a great question Calvin Castillo – while you should definitely take notes to help you remember concepts, most people look things up in the documentation for a given language when they need to know....almost anything ;)

We interviewed a bunch of developers at the food trucks near our office a few months back to find out what they knew on the fly – and you'll see if you watch the clip – everyone uses documentation
