Does anyone know how curated fashion sites started their business?

I had an idea for a unique curated fashion site but I'm not sure how those businesses really started up.

There's a handful of them that were usually started from blog sites that eventually built up a large audience then they started their own domain.

well, i think that depends if you are a designer or a business man . Usually a designer likes to create ,to fully realize that creativity, they need to continually improve their skills.People like it when you become the best in what you do, and accordingly your business grows . And unless you're a superheroe, you will need some back-up to help you with those other stuff that are not design. For the other hand, if you start as a designer and enjoy more that business part, you could just be the puppeteer of your company.

Either of both can lead to success if you do things correctly and honestly .

Hi Carolina,

I am not a fashion designer and I am closer to the business side although I am learning more about web design. I am asking because I had an idea for something currently lacking in the curated fashion marketplace and I mainly wondered how those sites found clothing designers and manufacturers.
