Does Anyone Know How To Modify A Website Link So That The Text And The Thumbnail Photo Are What You Want Displayed???

I Noticed That When I Shared The Link From The New Website With My Friend, The Link Showed A Combination Of The Bible Verse And The Mission Statement On The Index Page Of The Site. (I Have Tried Everything Including 6 Or 7 <br> Between The Paragraphs)

I Need To Modify The Comment In The Link And The Thumbnail Photo In The Link.

Hey Crystal,

There shouldn’t be any need for you to remove any markup that you had at first, only to add the social meta to your <head> container.

Reference the link I posted on moz.com and go one step at a time. Something like implement the Facebook og: meta, save, and upload your HTML files, then test it with Facebook. If everything is working, move on to twitter, then repeat for any other networks you wish to include.

Sometimes adding all that info at once can be a little overwhelming and we can create problems. Let me know how you get on! :)

If you are sharing links via social networks like Facebook and twitter, you can create og:(Facebook) and twitter card customizations in your HTML.

Here is a useful Moz post about implementing and using the social meta tags.
