Drupal permission error

I am having an issue after I created a moderator role when I try to switch roles from the administrator role. I am able to switch roles, but I get this error:

Warning: session_destroy(): Session callback expects true/false return value in user_logout() (line 178 of /Users/aaronharpt/Documents/drupal-7.41/modules/user/user.pages.inc). Warning: session_destroy(): Session object destruction failed in user_logout() (line 178 of /Users/aaronharpt/Documents/drupal-7.41/modules/user/user.pages.inc).

Any ideas with how to fix this?
