CSS CSS Basics Understanding Values and Units Em and Rem Units

Em based font-size for .heading

The em-based font-size value for .heading is relative to its parent header's font-size value. This causes a compounding.

style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */

.heading {
  font-size: 1.8rem;
}

.title {
  font-size: 1.65em;
}

h1 {

Hi Megan,

Not sure what you're trying to do with the .title class, which doesn't exist in the <body>.

You also seem to have removed these properties for some reason, which are probably required by the challenge :

html { font-size: 16px; }

header { font-size: 1.5em; }

Your .heading is correct so I'm sure you'll find the solution for h2 and h3 once you get past step 1.

Kr,

html { font-size: 16px; }

header { font-size: 1.5em; }

.heading { font-size: 5rem; }

I had to wait a day so the website isn't glitchy. I replaced em with rem for .heading. Kinda annoying how glitchy this site can get but super helpful info.
