Honestly, I have to say that I'm very disappointed in this course. I have been trying to do this since before Christmas but I cannot even get started in this course's first video.
All kinds of messy error messages, saying that I have to upgrade Gradle (which I always do but to no avail), the files in Downloads or on GitHub are corrupt, "Error: android-apt plugin is incompatible with Android Gradle plugin", the camera icons are gone, etc, etc, etc.
What should I do? I have a great idea for an Android app that I want to make but I can't even learn the damn program or the code for it!
Team Treehouse, do you check back on these videos to make sure they are still matching the updates from Android Studio, or to just make sure the files still work?
I remember having a lot of issues just getting started with the last Android app course as well "Build a Simple Android App with Java"...
Sorry for so much negative energy in this post.
Someone, please help me get started on this course! I'm desperate!
