failing to load settings for .idea

hie guys

im getting this error message when I open android studio "cannot load settings from a file" and then it point to the workspace.xml file saying "error on line 1, content is not allowed in prolog, please correct the file content, " how do I correct this??

Hello,

Could you move the .idea/workspaces.xml file to another directory then try opening your project again. Android Studio should then regenerate a default workspaces.xml file for you. If that works, it is safe to delete the original workspaces.xml file. If this does not work, please let us know so we can try further trobleshooting methods.
