My article.html file doesn't preview anymore; when I hit the preview button I get the index webpage. When I try to use the links I set up from index to article, I get a 404. I created another file as a test, and when I preview it, it too brings up the index webpage. I can't imagine this is something I coded. What do I do?

Something really weird is going on in your workspace. There is no html in your article.html and your index.html files.
They both just say "testing testing..." I think maybe you accidentally overwrote the html in those files?
I would recommend deleting your workspace and going back to the video and launching a new workspace.

I actually restarted the whole course because I couldn't figure out what the code problem might have been, so I just did a test to see if it was even a coding problem. I deleted and recreated the index.html and article.html files, and the article.html file still only links to index.html page when I try to preview it. So I don't think it's a code thing, I think it's a technical issue with the site or with my device.

Yes, that sounds like a technical issue, not a code issue. I would recommend reaching out to TreeHouse Support. There is a a link in the top navigation. Sorry you are having trouble. So frustrating.
