36,427 PointsHi Megan!
This passes all three tasks:
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
header span {
font-size: 26px; /*** Task 1 ***/
}
.main-content ul {
background-color: papayawhip; /*** Task 2 ***/
}
footer p {
color: slategrey; /*** Task 3 ***/
}
Which seems to be pretty much what you had, so I'm not sure exactly what the question is!?!
Lemmeeno if you need more info...
I hope that helps.
Stay safe and happy coding!

36,427 PointsHi Megan!
Yea - sometimes the challenges have inexplicable and confounding quirks.
In some cases, I have typed what I KNOW to be the correct answer and it won't pass, but if I copy and paste the EXACT SAME TEXT from some other source (via a Google search or even from the challenge question text itself), then it passes!?!
I discovered that workaround through much trial-and-error trying to move forward with certain Treehouse courses.
I hope that helps.
Stay safe and happy coding!
