Treehouse Project ReviewerYour selector is wrong for this part of the challenge. To target elements that are descendants of another element, you must first target the parent element followed by a whitespace and then the element you want to style that is nested inside the containing element.
footer p {
/* Enter your code here */
}

Treehouse Project ReviewerYou have an extra closing curly brace floating around that follows the closing curly brace after the .main-content p rule.

761 PointsI entered the following, and it's wrong:
footer p{ color: slategrey; }
in the html it's footer, then p... so I believe this part is correct. But I don't understand how
{ color: slategrey; }
is wrong.
Thanks in advance

Treehouse Project ReviewerI have just tested this with the same selector I used in my answer. It worked fine for me and I completed the challenge.
