Finally, using console.printf print out a formatted string that says "Because you said <response>, you passed the test!"

What?

Example.java 
// I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console.
String response;

do{
  response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops");
  if(response.equalsIgnoreCase("no")){
  console.readLine(response);
  console.printf("Because you said " + response + ",you passed the test");
}
}while(response.equalsIgnoreCase("no"));

You have two issues,

  1. You don't need to put the if statement inside the do statement loop. The task asks you to write the specified string "Because you said <response> ... " WHEN the response is NOT "no" (regardless of case). So you can just put your console.printf() function call outside of the do loop and it will reach it.

  2. Console.printf does not work like simple System.out.print function where you can just use "+" to add to String. You have to do something like this, console.printf("Because you said %s, you passed the test!", response);
