Finished transition and transform

I finished transition and transform lesson. I would say i understand a lot of things on this course, but there is still little things that i cant understand. That is cube transform. I dont know why add the display property to block and position to absolute. Or there is a lot of rotate property and translate 3d property, if you want me to see single property i totally understand the definition. But when they combine altogether, i feel very confuse. I can't visualize the picture in my brain. So, i hope someone can help me out, please tell me very detailed. Thank you so much and waiting for your reply!!
