First of many apps!

I made a stock simulator as my first app. Have a look.

Also, how long did it take you to make this?

Simon Duchaine Thanks for the very nice words! I can't take full credit for the UI though as my designer friend did the mockups for me.

Diego Marrs Thanks a lot! I agree, Treehouse is truly incredible! I just wished they had more courses to cover the many many facets of Android. This took me almost one month. However, it was coding at around 8 hours a day including weekends, but keep in mind, I started from scratch.

vicente lee 8 hours? Wow! That is a lot of commitment! I'm still in school, so I don't have much time for treehouse :(, but i'm trying to fit it into my busy schedule (Summer is coming though, so I will have more time for treehouse! :) ). And for someone who started from scratch, that is, once again, a really cool app! Heck, I would even consider this to be inspiring!

Diego Marrs Oh boy, you have so much time! I only wished I started earlier.

WOW, that is awesome!

The power of Treehouse is amazing :)

wow! What you achieved is incredible, keep up that hard work :-)

I know this thread is kinda old, but what android courses did you take in order to obtain the knowledge to build this app besides the courses in the android track?

Hey Diego, I used the Android track and then googled whatever I was missing (which was a lot). I think the track provided most of the boiler plate code.
