my page will not fall into two collumns like i want it to what is wrong?

gallery {

margin: 0; padding: 0; list-style: none; }

gallery li {

float: left; width: 45%; margin: 2.5% background-color: #f5f5f5; color: #bdc3c7; }

i fixed the 2.5% margin issue and nothing has changed

Well, if the code you put on here was straight from your sheet, then Mark was right; that's probably what is causing you the problem. I didn't even see that at first. Thanks, Mark! :)

Also, if you did paste directly from it, did you put the "#" in front of "gallery"? Since "gallery" is the id, you'll need to put the "#" there so it'll know to select the object(s) with the id of "gallery", not an element named "gallery".

You don't have a semi-colon after your 2.5% margin.
