free fonts for Chinese characters

I am planning to build a Chinese website. Google fonts is a good source of free web development fonts but it seemed contain no Chinese character style. Can anyone tell me some other sources to get free font-family for Chinese?

I think Noto Sans would work pretty good for that. It's endorsed by Google, and they're trying to make it support all characters everywhere. On its early access page, it looks like you can download Chinese characters.

Source Han (traditional and simplified) is beautiful, free, and available from TypeKit. Unfortunately, it is still desktop only. It is created by Adobe, so it would be worth keeping an eye on.

If you want to use Source Han today, you can roll your own by converting Source Han (files on github) to WOFF, EOT, and SVG. Then, just serve them from your own domain.
