From where i can get background images for my websites

Hello

I want to know that from where all the people find images to put on website backgrounds. I am not talking about textures , am talking about background images that i can put on website background as we see in today's modern designing.

Thanks

Hi ravindra,

There really are MANY sites to get images from. Search for "royalty-free images" or "free stock photos" on the web. Just be really careful about the license. Make sure you read the license type very thoroughly to prevent any legal issues down the line.

What I've done in the past. Once I know the kind of image I want for the background, I call a local (professional) photographer I know and tell her want I need. She usually can shoot it for me and we just work out a fee for the licensing.

I like a site called Morgue File: http://www.morguefile.com/ has lots of decent free images.
