FTP Client preference?

Hi everyone!

I have just been screwed over by Filezilla for the last time (malicious ransom virus that wiped out my asset library) and I'm now looking for a new FTP client.

What FTP client do you guys use? I'm currently using Cyberduck but the UI is a bit too simple for my liking, but maybe I'll get used to it.

I'm running Windows 7 x64.

I recently switched from Filezilla to Transmit. I think Transmit is OS X only though so that doesn't help you. There are some things I hate about Filezilla, but it is like 2x as fast as the other FTP clients I have tried.

Out of curiosity, how did Filezilla give you a virus?

Apparently Filezilla have been allowing undeclared adware to be installed with their software for the last year or so. So even after declining all the offers, it secretly installs some anyway. Some users seem to be pointing the problem to Sourceforge rather than Filezilla themselves, but the problem has been around since mid-2013 and Filezilla don't seem to be doing anything about it. So, I've had enough.

And I'm running under the assumption that it was Filezilla as it has required 3 updates in the last two weeks and is the only software on my computer that has been installed/updated in the past month. I have other reasons for ditching it as well, such as no longer being able to connect to servers while others (like Cyberduck) can and using unencrypted password logs. This was just the final straw.
