function max(high,short){ var largeNumber=high > short; return largeNumber; }

i could not understand what i have to do, guys pls i need your help, explain me what it means

A couple of things, "short" is a reserved word in Javascript so you cannot use it as a variable or parameter in this case.

Currently you are not checking to see which of the two numbers is larger. In your example if high is greater than short largeNumber would be a boolean value of true, which is not a number.

Try using an if/else statement inside of your function.
