JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Creating Reusable Code with Functions Create a max() Function

functions with two numbers as arguments

Create a new function named max() which accepts two numbers as arguments. The function should return the larger of the two numbers. You'll need to use a conditional statement to test the 2 numbers to see which is the larger of the two.

script.js
function max([5,9]) {
  return 9;
}if ()

First, abandon the numbers. The function needs to allow you to pass in any two numbers to check. So, you want to pass two variables (maybe 'a' and 'b') into the function. Then create a conditional function <br> <br> if (condition1 > condition 2) <br> then "return condition1" <br> or else it should return condition 2. <br>

function max (x,y){ if (y>x) return y; } alert(5,10);
