Future of web design and development

Hello, hope you are all well.

I am concerned about the future of web design and development. Like the possibility of Cms's taking over ( No need for designers ).

Will there always be web design and development work ?

I study code and design every day, I live and breathe it. I do not want it to be a waist of time and end up working in a shop or something.

Thanks

Adam

I firmly believe that in our lifetime, there will always be a need for Web Designers and Programmers. Technology is constantly evolving (not to mention being introduced), plus people will always want something more than what templates and website builders can offer.

Definitely don't worry about your career/passion being obsolete. Not yet at least :P

Thank you :)

Thats what I was hoping to hear

Design will never die. Because at the end of the day it's all about image. Programming will also never die since you always need someone to instruct computers to do something. Maybe in 50 or 100 years bots can auto learn and auto program or something lol but in that case almost every human task will be obsolete :P By the way... is there any chance to look at your work as a designer / programmer?
