Databases Reporting with SQL Working with Text Changing Cases of Strings

Getting a weird error: Expected results to look like "Andrew CHALKLEY", "MCL1001" not "Andrew CHALKLEY", "MCL1001".

Isn't it the same? Or am I missing something?

Here is the question:

In the library database there's a patrons table with the columns id, first_name, last_name, address, email, library_id, and zip_code.

The library is generating new library cards that will display the full name and their library ID. The full name needs to have the last name in all caps. Create a report with two columns of results, one is an alias of full_name the second being the library_id.

Here is my code:

SELECT first_name || " " || UPPER(last_name), library_id FROM patrons

It looks like it's complaining about the correct answer, but the issue is actually with the column headers (which the message doesn't show).

Your first column needs an alias ("full_name").

even after I applied the alias it didn't work for me, but when I copy and pasted code from another question it worked.

here is the code I am trying now which isn't passing:

SELECT first_name || " " || UPPER(last_name) AS full_name, library_id FROM patrons

That is a correct answer. If you're getting a false failure, try restarting your browser.

SELECT first_name || " " || UPPER(last_name) AS full_name, library_id AS library_id FROM patrons

That code doesn't work either

Sorry, I mistyped my answer initially, the second column doesn't need an alias.

but if its my browser why would the copy/pasted answer work?

That is odd. But then I pasted in your code "which isn't passing" and it passed.

weird, thanks for your help anyway!
