Git (in git error)

when trying to clone in git using "https" addreses, keep gettin the error: "Protocol https not supported or disabled in libcurl.

HOW CAN I FIX THAT?! thanks :)

its fixed, the libcurl.dll was overriden by a different software that also used libcurl.dll and somehow reinstalling git didnt help, so i downloaded libcurl manually and then switched every libcurl.dll file i found on my pc with that new file. and it worked.

i am using windows 7 so the references there dont apply to me. my knowledge in git and curl which is the problem i think isnt sufficient enough. after reading the whole thing i couldnt fix my problem. so i really need some more help. thank you very very much for helping me out! :)

We are going to need more details then on what you are doing. What flavor of git are using? How did you install it?

i downloaded it from git-scm.com and i have version 1.9.1 i just installed it using the installer.

the error comes when i start the limeJS installation by typing "python bin/lime.py init" on git.
