GitHub Desktop v. 0.5.5 doest have open in Atom option? I cannot seem to locate how to open my repository in atom

56,413 PointsMy currently up to date GitHub Desktop is v 3.3.4.0 which does have an Atom button to launch it. It looks like you fell behind on updates. Try going to About... on the Settings menu at the right and you should see an option to update. If not maybe a fresh reinstall from the source is in order.
