Good Wireframe Software

Does anyone know any particularly good software that can design wireframes? I have a primitive paint program but I was looking for something a bit more specialised which has templates built in already for things like headers, images and footers.

I am working from an Apple Mac running OSX Lion if that helps.

Hi Ben, have a look at both Sketch and Balsamiq. Both are meant to be good for wireframing and quick mock-up tools and both have free trials to let you have a play with them before buying the product. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice. I've heard decent things about Sketch actually but I don't think my system can handle the current iteration. Do you know how to get hold of older versions of it?

Hi Ben - no problem, yeah I've also heard good things about Sketch and treehouse even do a small course on working with it. However about getting hold of older (legacy) versions like v1 or v2 maybe contact bohemian coding and ask the question, as I don't know about this.

Thanks again, Sam. I have put my question up on the Sketch forum, hopefully get some results from that, otherwise an ebay search it is!
