Got overcomplicated fast

Just a hard-to-follow tutorial. Files were already full of a ton of code including a bunch of requires to random packages...

I hear Passport is nasty, but it can be extremely useful for avoiding Auth0 lock-in. I'd love if this workshop was revisited with a more modern, simple approach, sometime in the future. ?‍♂️
