Would you recommend using GSON. I come from a .NET background and I think is easier to handle JSON data in .NET(Maybe it's because I have used .NET more.....). But reading about GSON it would make life way easier!

Courses Plus Student 6,573 PointsGSON is easy to use and pretty common among Android/Java applications. If you are parsing JSON from a REST service from an Android device then I would highly recommend Retrofit.
