having some trouble with this question

this is what the question asks.

Creat a new function named max which accepts two numbers as arguments (you can name the arguments, whatever you would like). the function should return the lager of the two number. HINT: you'll need to use a conditional statement to test the 2 parameters to see which is the larger of the two

Sure it does. If you copy and paste my function directly for part 1 it'll pass. If you're talking about part 2 of the question then you'll need to demonstrate and display the result of max function like so:

alert( max(1,10) );

You'll need to set parameters in the function to compare and carry out the logic.

function max(numOne, numTwo) {
    if (numOne > numTwo) {
        return numOne;
    } else {
      return numTwo;
    }
}
