You're pretty close, here's a few hints:

  • it looks like the whole thing is indented (the "def" line should be at the very left)
  • the "except" line needs a colon at the end
  • "None" should be spelled with a capital "N"
  • after the final "else" you still need to return the sum of the two numbers
