Hello, I dont know how to write the correct if statement. Could you please give me the solutions for this task?

is the structure like this?

if (noun.equals("dork")) { console.printf("That language is not allowed. Exiting. \n\n"); System.exit(0); }

String secondExample = "hello";

You're close, but I see two issues:

  • variable names should not be enclosed in quotes
  • the instructions only asked for the code to print, not to exit
