Java Java Objects (Retired) Delivering the MVP Validation

Hello there. I working my way through validation and do not understand why this does not work.

The logic is:

Test the fieldname through a if statement. To begin we test to see if the string begins with the character 'm'; I do this using the charAt() method to select the first letter and compare. Then the second comparison is to see if the second letter/ character is in uppercase. I try to achieve this by using isUpperCase() method.

If any of these checks are false then an exception should be thrown.

However this doesn't seem to work - why???

      throw new IllegalArgumentException("Field name does not validate!!!"); 
    }
    return fieldName;

You are missing a parenthesis at the end of your if statement. That's it, as for as I can tell ^^
