how do you concatenate these strings?

creating_functions.py 
def hello_student(name):
    val = 'Hello ' + ' name'
    return val

You've got the right idea, and + is the right operator, but for the second half you want the contents of the variable name, not the literal string ' name'. Just don't put quotes around a variable.
