Help for loop

Hi guys, what's wrong here? Syntax?

breaks.py 
def loopy(items):
    for item in items:
        print(item)
if item == "STOP":
    break

Indentation and order need to be corrected.

Check for stop first, then print

def loopy(items):
    for item in items:
        if item == "STOP":
            break
        print(item)

Looks like indentation, try this:

def loopy(items):

        print(item)
        if item == "STOP":
            break
