Help guys im stuck

Help me on how to pass two arguments to the below cone so that the results are shown on the alert() dialog

function max(x, y) { if (x > y) { return x; } else { return y; } } 
function max(x, y){
alert(x);
}

to call a function with two arguments, do:

alert(max(/* some value for x */, /* some value for y */));

Hi,

To call a function and display using the alert , use the code like this below

alert(max(2,3)); which will display 3 in the alert box.

To use Math.random() function, you can use like,

x = Math.random();
y = Math.random();
alert(max(x,y));  

or alert(max(Math.random(),Math.random()));

Try this in console and you can get a clear idea.
