Help with Git Bash

When I try to use Git Bash with Windows 7 all I get is a blinking cursor with nothing else on the screen. When I try to type nothing shows up. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

When you open up git bash you should see something similar to this

Run 'git help git' to display the help
Run 'git help <command>' to display he

I tried rebooting. Still just getting a blinking cursor and nothing happens when I try to type.

I would try re-installing git on your machine.
