JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Creating Reusable Code with Functions Create a max() Function

how???????

Create a new function named max which accepts two numbers as arguments (you can name the arguments, whatever you would like). The function should return the larger of the two numbers.

HINT: You'll need to use a conditional statement to test the 2 parameters to see which is the larger of the two. how do you do this

script.js
function max(

Hello, you must just create function:

function max(){
}

Then insert in this function two arguments:

function max(numberOne, numberTwo){
}

Then insert some logic of the situation:

function max(numberOne, numberTwo) {
  if (numberOne > numberTwo){
    return numberOne
  }else {
    return numberTwo
  }
}

Was it helpful for you?

var num1 = 9;
var num2 = 12;

function numCompare(num1, num2) {
  if (num1 > num2) {
     return num1;
  }
  else {
     return num2;
  }
}

So what is happening here is you have declared two variables, then we create a function and pass them both in as arguments. Then we compare the two numbers and return the larger number :)
