how can i sum up current_count + upcoming_releases = "total"

Im trying to add the sums to these value total.... Any suggestions

delete.py
current_count = 14
planned = 5
upcoming_releases = 2
del planned
variable_named = "varibale total"
current_count + upcoming_releases = "variable total"

Perhaps these hints will help:

  • in an assignment, the variable being set goes on the left of the equal sign, the value goes on the right
  • to create a variable, you use just its name on the left side of the assignment (never the word "variable")
  • also never put quotes around a variable name, that makes a literal string
