How do I add the string?

Please help. I feel like I'm on the right track but don't know how to add a String

function returnValue(Victoria) {
  var echo = Victoria.toString();
  return echo;
}

returnValue();

You're close. You don't want to declare echo within the variable.

You want to define echo using the function you created, with a string passed in as a parameter, like this

function returnValue(string) {
  return string;
}

var echo = returnValue("Victoria");

this will make your function return "Victoria", equivalent to

var echo = "Victoria";
