How do I custom size a picture on my website???

Hi, I'm on Nick's Web Design course, so I think I'll get to this sometime, but anyway, how would I size one of my custom pictures so it's exactly the required and preferred size? Hope you can help. Thanks!!!

Hi, One way is to download a program called Gimp : Go to : Image Scale Image

docs.gimp.org/2.6/C/gimp-tutorial-quickie-scale.html

I've used Gimp before and it totally slipped my mind! Thanks, I'll do that!

:-) Great, that should do it:

  1. Image 2.Scale Image

normally you'd want to oversize your picture if you're doing a scalable site. This way it doesn't get pixely when it's on big screens. You'd use CSS to resize it depending on screen size.
