How do I make it go to the top of the page using the href tag

In order to go to the top the href attribute needs to be within an anchor tag. Try this...

I think your tags have got a little muddled. You would need to use the <a> tag and the href attribute

So replace your text with: <a href=“#top”>Go back to the top of the page.</a>
