How do i make this website eye catching

I agree with Marcus that you should explore the design foundations course. Here is a short list of what you'd need to make the site better:

• Find a grid! There is no alignment with your elements. The navigation and the content don't align properly throughout the site.
• The colors are bright and contrast a lot. Consider a different palette.
• Photo size and quality inconsistencies. Some are grainy, others are cropped to strange sizes. Make sure you are legally allowed to use all of the photos and you didn't just pull them randomly from the web. This means having explicit permission from a photo service or a photographer.
• The sub-menu for sections such as "Romania-Upon-Thames" and "Artists & Craftsmen" is too difficult to notice. It should link visually to your main menu.
• You seem to want to split your audience into two groups... the people living in London and those that have yet to arrive. Consider putting those choices side by side rather than on either side of your main image slideshow. I gazed right and didn't notice the text on the left at first. Choices should be next to one another.
• All sub-pages on the site read like long lists. There is no design to them. Consider developing a side bar or call out text to bring attention to material so the reader isn't forced always read top to bottom without a visual break.

You could try adding some space between the elements as it seems a little bunched up at the moment. Also maybe add some pseudo classes to the navigation such as a:hover (it makes the links change when the user mouses over them).

I would say you need to change the color scheme try Color Lovers http://www.colourlovers.com/ they have some beautiful palettes

Also I think the logo graphic needs to be smaller as you have a lot of space of the top right of the site and that's quite valuable real estate

Do the design foundations course, I completed it today and it was quite informative. Also you can try the Aesthetics one too, I'm sure they'll inspire you on how to improve your site.

The site could do with more inspiration. I would advise you to not only take the Design Foundations course, but also look at other websites and see what they are doing to create layouts, brand identity, and UX that engages the audience. There is a lot of inconstancy in your web design. Lack of color theory. And the site has no balance.
