I am doing the console foundation and I was wondering if the is any software I can use to run a Linux commands on windows. I am not looking for some complicated software. I need simple software. Thank you

28,149 PointsI have not found a simple solution, really.
I downloaded Console for Windows and then added Cygwin to the Console, and it more or less works like expected.
Truthfully though, my preferred method is just to develop on an IDE like Cloud 9, where you're developing in a Linux environment, they give you a Linux console, and it "just works". That's your easy answer, just use an IDE like Cloud 9 with a free account.
