HTML Introduction to HTML and CSS (2016) Getting Familiar with HTML and CSS Test: Changing the Look of a Web Page

How do I set the 'color' property of h1 elements to 'purple' without quotes.

Do I write the code in CSS?

index.html
<!doctype html>
<html>
  <head>
    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet">
  </head>
  <body>

    <h1>Welcome to My Web Page!</h1> color: purple

  </body>
</html>

Yes, this is a CSS task. And it looks like you have the property and value (without quotes) already.

:point_right: You're just missing the selector (to make the setting apply to h1 elements) and the braces around the setting:

styles.css
h1 {
    color: purple;
}
