How do you do this?

Whenever I am trying to copy and paste code to answer questions it always shows up like normal text. How do I make it have the same color and format as the code that the person asking the question had?

There is a Markdown Cheatsheet link below the Add an Answer box. That should show you what you need to do for each language you want to display code for.
