56,414 PointsThe problem is Android Studio doesn't allow you to create a straight Java project, only Android ones. In order to work, I highly recommend installing IntelliJ. You can get Android Studio to recognize and run a simple existing Java project with a bit of finessing but you're more than likely to run into trouble later on.
