Development Tools HTTP Basics Introduction to HTTP Sending Data with a POST Request

how do you know how many bytes?

how would you know that in a real life scenario?

1 Answer

  1. It's the number of bytes of data in the body of the response. The body is the part that comes after the blank line below the headers. It lets the receiving party knows when the current response has finished. In the real world you wouldn't be calculating it. It's calculated by the server.
