I tried looking in the global.js file but it's not there. Is this a feature of Slim/Twig?

22,986 Pointshtml5 has built in validation for things like emails. Just as long as you set a type of email:
<input type="email">
Keep validation on the server side though - only modern browsers will do the validation.
