The load command begins with ":" and your expression looks like:

:load Example.java

You exit the repl by pressing Ctrl+C in Windows or Command+C in Mac.

Got it. Would you know why the load command doesn't work. I get ^
ERROR: not a statement
load Example.java;
^

ERROR: ';' expected
load Example.java;
^
ERROR: not a statement
load Example.java;
I get the same errors when I try to load PezDispenser.java.
