How to become a better web designer?

I already know enough HTML, CSS & JS to make a cool website but they still look simple and without style. I have a lot of troubles creating new layouts from scratch (Everytime I make a new website it looks the same as the website I made before), picking new colors and fonts.

Do you guys have an idea of what can I do to improve on those weak points? I already watched the whole Web Design track.

Go and explore. Check out portfolio sites like dribbble and behance for inspiration.

How do you start when you want to make something new? Not sure what your process is but you could try scribbling your design on a piece of paper, try to visualize what you want to create then try to tackle the code with that design in mind.
